I used sad images for one half of the video to represent parallel sound as the music is sad but i used happy images for the rest of the video to represent contrapuntal sound

The actor is wearing clown makeup which could connote craziness and madness, which is reinforced by his bright coloured clothing. Bright colours have associations with the circus which links back to the actor's clown makeup. The actor is dancing in the middle of public as seen by the railings, stairs, the littered-street and the graffiti on the walls which also signals that the man has gone insane. Extract 1 The woman's home is dimly-lit to reinforce the film's theme of horror as darkness has connotations of the scary and unknown. The woman is wearing a casual outfit and is in her home. This signifies that scary things can happen to any ordinary person. There is a build-up of scary music to raise tension and keep the viewer on edge. The popcorn is used to add extra stakes and grip the viewer as they will want to know if it will explode or not.
